Anyone who has read any of The Spirit sections will know that Will Eisner created, wrote and drew many of the adventures that appeared over the 12 years of the features publication in the Sunday Comic Book Section that appeared in many American newspapers during the 1940s. However, Eisner had assistance from many talented creators throughout publication, many of whom went on to make names for themselves in the comics or cartoon fields.
